ANOTHER RENAMING UPPER TO LOWER  
  
A shorter method for renaming  
all files in a unix directory  
from upper to lower case.

for file in *  
do  
mv $file `echo $file | tr [:upper:] [:lower:]` 2>/dev/null  
done
