Unix Tip #4418- April 16, 2025
LOGGING MAKES
To keep the log of make task or
compilation session or build
package process, you may do:
$ make bzImage 2>&1|tee build.log
To append further log to a file,
continue with:
$ make modules 2>&1|tee -a build.log
